Tried not to give up hope but isn't looking good for sick and disabled.

Guessing the disability Act 2010 is not there to protect after all.

The Equality Act 2010 ensures equal rights for disabled people by prohibiting discrimination, including direct and indirect discrimination, harassment, and victimisation.

We are totally being discriminated against and harassment, this government is causing pain and suffering I can't get my head around how they can just do it mind boggling really is 😡

I read in the daily express that it’s been put forward ( Gordon brown I think ) that they can pay for the scrapping of the two child limit but taxing gambling sites . If this is the case maybe another u turn could come for us especially as MPs are apparently still putting pressure on starmer . The fact he’s going against reeves shows he’s u turning.

I know un and echr have recommended they treat people with disabilities with dignity respect someone said since coming out of brexit weakened our rights I'm not sure but we don't have as many rights I've emailed few more mps got noting to lose now just basically saying if you vote against cuts we will use our votes wisely imagine if vote was day after reform won seats for sure we would have been OK but passing time they lose that feeling it is down to literally waiting seems this has been years well I suppose it has 2023 it started for me been on courses for managing emotions it's impossible isn't it

I could be wrong but it may be that right now nothing has changed in parliament but if if does we may have rights to block certain parts of any new legislation. Right now Starmer and reeves said no WFA u turn , days later a u U-turn . They said they can’t afford to scrap the two child limit but now talk of a u turn. Fingers crossed he u turns again for us 🤞🙏

I believe that this will pass but some aspects will get watered down, that's my hypothesis.

Don't give up hope, I'm really tired, my neck issues are getting worse, I'm miserable but I'm not letting these narcissistic abusers to grind me down to the dust.

Our lives were never meant to be easy, it's a fight every day and that we can overcome our obstacles we face, we can overcome these nasty pieces of work.

I'll take a break until sometime next week to stop myself spamming, take care and look after yourselves.

Thank you Charlie. I really hope the MPs supporting us so far continue to put pressure on starmer and do not cave in to his emotional blackmail. I did read he’s being implored to think about taxing gambling sites to fund it , that could mean they won’t need to go ahead with the disability cuts to pay .

A few people keep writing that they believe that the damn proposals will get through and become law! If you really believe so, then, there's no point for you in discussing them everyday. Get ready and arm yourself with whatever you can.

If we believe that they'll become law before they're even taken to the Commons for vote, then, we've conceded in advance and accept them.

We've got to be optimistic till the end and keep writing, in the meantime, to MPs even if they're not your own MPs. I'm planning to write to Angela Rayner this evening or latest tomorrow, and I can assure you she won't be pleased with my email.

I’ve read that starmers being advised to tax gambling sites after he’s said to have asked for ways to fund scrapping the two child limit, apparently. If this is the case it means he’s u turning and may u turn again if the MPs continue to rebel against disabled cuts. I also read an article which seemed to suggest it’s Starmer who’s getting more forceful with the things he wants . In other words he’s throwing reeves under the bus to try and save himself.

I also emailed Jeremy Corbyn & Diane Abbot even though theyr'e not my local MP's about the issue of possible discrimination to disabled and other vulnerable groups by uturns to WFA and the 2 child benefit cap. Hopefully they may inform other mp's about our concerns or even kick up a fuss for us, like yourself and Catherine keep emphasising, it's still important to not give up hope and carry on emailing your own local mp (even if they don't reply) and other mp's who aren't your mp, as they still receive your emails, and possibly will read them and take notice or our concerns.

    Keep well 😊
