So my pip reassessment telephone call was due last week at 9am and didn't sleep, preparing myself, the call was late only for the lady to tell me that the healthcare professional wasn't available so is rearranged for next week.They don't understand what you go through, at least still doing reassessments. What does it mean if I get pip award for certain amount of years concerning November 26? Also ESA just had letter telling me it continues, the non contribution based one.

I don’t think when means testing is mentioned it means people just over a certain amount or those with savings . I can only speak for myself but it’s millionaires and those on very high incomes. Look at David Cameron for instance. He claimed DLA for his son though he’s a millionaire. My point is yes legally he was entitled to but for us whether we work on a low wage or cannot work we rely on pip . We would be destitute if we lost it . We know when it’s coming into our accounts as we need it . For some like Cameron it’s just extra and if they lost it they wouldn’t feel the effect as we would. I’ve lost pip in the past and esa at the same time and was in a terrible state . But it wouldn’t have affected me if I were a millionaire or very well off .

I don't think you need to apologise at all @Topcat71 - if you can't post on here when you're feeling low and get some support I think there is something wrong here 🤷‍♀️🫂. I don't come on here as much, mostly for the same reason as @mrsBB has mentioned. It's enough to be 'fighting' the government, certainly don't expect it on here. I hope you get the support you need on here and don't feel you have to 'be positive' for others' benefit when it's not how you feel. Take good care.

They played a similar trick on me . I was down as having phone assessment and recorded . Dwp wrote that and I called Atos to confirm. 30 mins before the call they called to say it’s booked with someone who can’t record . Then blamed dwp and said it’s dwp who book appointments

I don’t think he’ll be in for long 🤞. I read this morning about reeves on her way out but pat McFadden possibly taking her place . I’m sure I’ve read he’s for cuts or am I wrong ?

I know and I agree with you . I think everyone on this forum would be lost without their pip . I have no cure or treatment so I’d be destitute with no plan b . And I’m single so can’t count on a partner while I go to tribunal. You heard what the mp said , he compared pip to pocket money because to them it is .well off people have no idea . They can apply for pip and depending on how well off they are it may be a bonus . To us it’s a lifeline . I really think they should bring in rules whereby if you lose pip you keep it while you go through the appeal system. I’ve lost mine before and was left with nothing .
