This is my fear . I have ME and fibromyalgia among other illnesses. There’s no cure or treatment. So I’ve no back up plan . Yet I’m always up for reassessment when I can only get worse with age not better .

I know and I agree with you . I think everyone on this forum would be lost without their pip . I have no cure or treatment so I’d be destitute with no plan b . And I’m single so can’t count on a partner while I go to tribunal. You heard what the mp said , he compared pip to pocket money because to them it is .well off people have no idea . They can apply for pip and depending on how well off they are it may be a bonus . To us it’s a lifeline . I really think they should bring in rules whereby if you lose pip you keep it while you go through the appeal system. I’ve lost mine before and was left with nothing .

Well it will be interesting to see what happens if Rayner takes over . We know where we stand if she put him forward as chancellor

That sounds awful Catherine and that’s just who you are . You should be allowed to be yourself instead of having to conform to what society wants . All this over them saving what is a small amount of money which to any other cause they’re throwing it around.

I don’t think so though he uses information from various sites such as benefits and work. He seems to be genuine to me . I also watch dynamic duo for information too . Rich is good for replying in the comments and will advise if he can and unlike some doesn’t charge a fee .

I’m not being dramatic when I say it broke me and I never fully recovered. I was told by the legal advisor who was helping me she’d never seen a case like it where the system was so against me . And I had so much evidence the dwp advised me to appeal. For some it goes well as it’s supposed to do , for others not so well . I’m sure there’s been worse situations than mine . I don’t know if my conditions or unlucky with the assessors . I feel bad for people who are so worried about the application process they don’t apply , and it’s something that should be there for us and help us .
