Hi, I hope you're all doing as well as can be. I'm in the process of migration from ESA support group after receiving a migration notice to apply for Universal Credit. I'm very stressed because I was supposed to receive a 2 week run on od ESA esa and housing benefit, but this did not happen. My online housing benefit statement shows as suspended and restart on 16th June. When I successfully completed the telephone biographic appointment, I mentioned mentioned about the ESA esrun on and housing benefit and the advisor informed they stop, the day. I migrated to UC. I received a message in my UC journal yesterday, advising when statement UC payment is due. I'm so stressed about the migration migration process and I believe I should flag up my concerns with a UC case manager. I would really appreciate feed back and to hear of anyone else's concerns. Thank you.

You should speak to ESA and Housing Benefit about the missing run on payments.

Hi Kimi thank you. I will sign in my UC account and raise a complaint with a case manager.

You need to speak to ESA & Housing Benefit rather than UC about the missing run on payments.

Hi thanks. I don't understand why I need to contact ESA esor hb. Shouldn't the two IE ESA es and UC be connecting ?!

The run on payments come from ESA & Housing Benefit, so you'd need to ask them why those payments didn't happen.

Thank you. Do you know if other claimants have had these problems ?

We had issues. They did pay just under the two weeks then sent a letter saying they had overpaid us and needed to pay it back. After contacting them they said they would be in touch about the repayment. About a month after our first UC payment we got a random one off payment of HB which added to the amount they claimed we had overpaid made the two weeks.
I don't think they have a clue what they are doing, but hopefully they will eventually put it right for you.
