Hi @Amberpearl I'm so sorry that you're still not feeling better. @Santosha12 has provided some really important advice about contacting 111 today. I hope you're ok. ๐

Hi @Amberpearl, Did your nurse explain the reason why they've prescribed blood thinners? (benefits/risks etc.).
Yoga is good to do (I should try that!) but it cannot replace/do the job of blood thinners but I don't think you meant that.
Sorry, but at the risk of sounding a complete and utter nag....111 are very good - I'm sure they also send an update of calls through to your GP - that would give them the 'heads up' for tomorrow so you're not without blood thinners for a ? 3rd day. Take care and ๐ซ to you.

The blood thinners made me very ill

I understand @Amberpearl.
Apart from the AF charity I mentioned I think on Friday, the Stroke Association website also have very good, reliable information on blood thinners - as well as a Forum - just in case you want more information in making the decision that's right for you, before you speak to either a doctor on 111 or your GP tomorrow.
The nurse you saw will be experienced/knowledgeable (particularly if she is a nurse prescriber) and would have prescribed blood thinners on the basis that the benefits for you to go on them (because of the AF) outweigh the risks.
It is, of course, always our decision as a patient to decide whether we consent to any treatment, including medication (and 111 can also advise on side effects too). Just want you to be fully informed that's all, and I'll stop rabbiting on now ! With very warmest wishes to you.
