Does anyone think the disability cuts could mimic the WFA as in after they cut the disability payments they will see in a years time that it is very bad and reverse it ?

Will the government u turn on pip? Like they done with winter fuel payments is this a sign of hope

Starmer, Reeves, Kendall, Timms are all nasty, spiteful cowardly losers of the highest order and no I won't renege on that. Look at them, they have no empathy, no compassion, they are cold hearted people, they remind me of an abuser, I speak from experience, they make YOU feel that you're in the wrong, they manipulate you, malign you, make you feel like nothing then like stockholm syndrome sufferers you accept your fate.

Whatever contempt they show us we need to reciprocate, it's that simple. If you're facing homelessness, losing every single penny you're entitled to what do people do when they have nothing left?. We're facing going down a very dark road of destitution, nothingness being left without a pot to you know what in and they want us to wither away and die and the right wing media will cover it up.

I'm sick and tired of this everything will be alright nonsense, it won't be if they get their way, they hate us and they'll do anything in their power to make our lives more of a living hell and for what? It's not about money, it's about hatred, it's a hate crime. How many times does this need to be said? THEY HATE US because we don't work, we don't contribute.

Use the legal tools we have, take it to the supreme court, the ECHR, the UN.

Liebour M.P regarding the benefit cuts and told him if he goes along with supporting it he WILL lose his seat at the next general election.

I think he will lose his seat regardless but we have to keep putting pressure on them.

When they introduced the free bus pass for pensioners, which at the time was for over sixties, not state pension age individuals, they took away the existing bus pass options for disabled people to pay for it. Obviously they've amended the system since, but it is still harder to get a disabled bus pass, and still requires a lot of evidence, while the age related one renews automatically.
When the pass came in, most of the people over 60 that I knew who were eligible for the pass had cars and driver's licences and drove everywhere, several were still in full time work.

It took me two years of fighting to get my bus pass because of this…because I had to jump through so many hoops to prove I couldn't navigate or coordinate and thus was not safe to be driving.

I am not one to blame other groups for taking things, because the decisions are not theirs. But I am cynical whenever a government decides to "give to older people", as it's never a free give, someone has to pay for it.

I am fully in support of the WFA existing, and the U turn, but not if it's happened at our expense. It does feel like we're getting more into a "we want to pick on disabled people because we think they're not doing enough" situation, as opposed to a "we want disabled people to be safe to work and integrated into our society" situation.

If the latter, they'd postpone touching benefits until they'd had a couple of years developing and improving DWP safeguarding and employment services for the 1 million out of work disabled who want to work (and for those of us in work who need more protection).

So sick of the talk about the imaginary benefit they expect to give TP for from PIP. If any MP falls for that, they shouldn't be allowed to vote on benefit cuts because they have no idea how benefits work.
