Quiet day today, done a wee bit of cleaning and personal care. Then I’ve had a teacher from a local grammar school come around to collect my hiking and camping equipment that I’ve donated to there Duke of Edinburgh Scheme. It’s hard for me to see my old gear in a cupboard and not be in a position to use it so I’ve let go of it now. The teacher that came around really was blown away at the amount of equipment I was donating and said that I’m an inspiration, have a great sense of humour, that I’m generous and have a lot to give in life. Which as someone that is neurodiverse, it’s hard to process that due to me always being hard on myself. I’ve had for a number of years, items passed down to me by my Grandfathers. I’ve had them sitting around and for a few weeks now I’ve been mulling something over 🤔 I have not spoken to or seen my family in nearly ten years, as I am now alone in the world - I sent my Grandfathers heirlooms up too my two nieces so as they can stay in the family. With me filing for divorce, letting go of my grandfathers heirlooms and my camping and hiking gear, it’s really making me feel numb and contemplating everything. Add to this I’ve now started to formally pay for a non attendance cremation service, Is this a way of me, kind of getting all my affairs in order. I need to speed to a solicitor to try and gauge about getting a living will or a lasting power of attorney in place should I lose mental capacity. I must admit I’ve got to start trying to be less critical, less harsh and above all stop putting myself down which is so so hard for me to do so. I’ve decided to keep wearing a ring on my wedding finger (sold my wedding ring last year) I’ve had a silver claddagh ring on there since last year, I’ve now bought a tungsten carbide black claddagh ring in its place. I have only left my flat, once since February. I’m scared to go out, don’t want to be seen in public and don’t want to be judged by people! I want to go into town in a few weeks after my birthday to have two piercings done and price up how much it would be to have my right upper arm completely blacked out as a tattoo. I’m still fighting myself with decorating my flat as I’ve now had to admit defeat as I’m a falls risk and the chemicals in paint would affect the old bellows 😮💨

I forget you live in Scotland! I've been using Tiktok a lot lately to scratch my travelling itch, and seen so many beautiful places in Scotland I'd love to go to one day. How are you doing?? ❤️

Awww it's so nice of you to donate all that @Roughyed1485 ❤️ Is the upper arm black out tattoo to cover something up or look you really like? I know how hard it can be to go out sometimes and hope it gets easier for you ❤️

Thank You ☺️ It’s to cover up a tattoo of an owl that an apprentice tattoo artist did 11 years ago, doesn’t sit right with my other ink. I’m going to try going to town in a few weeks to get a couple of piercings for my birthday.

It's awful here, absolutely hammering down.I took the dog for a walk when it stopped for a few minutes and now we're both soaked to the skin.

They haven't had a single barbecue for almost two years @Biblioklept ,I don't know why.
The barbecues stopped at around the time they tarted up their back garden and turned their shed into a 'pub'.

Quiet day, bit of cleaning early hours of the morning 🧼 just altered the moustache I created last night after removing most of my beard 🫣 plus as I’m getting old, I’ve just shaved the old heid 🔮 one issue though, forgot how sore a nick is with a fresh razor blade!

@Roughyed1485 I can relate to not being able to go out of the house. At least you are doing things which is more than can be said for me! Hope the nick wasn't too sore.
@Teigr you are always so positive and it's great to read.
Hi @Biblioklept and @Sandy_123 it's good to hear from you too and @chiarieds .
I'm a bit deflated as after baring my soul to a mental health social worker she phoned to say I'm referred for counselling and CBT and that's me signed off from mental health services. After just one visit where it nearly killed me to leave the house.
I guess I'm going to have to tacle this crippling anxiety myself.
