@Amberpearl WOW!!! I just love hearing about them and their different natures and personalities π. Yey, can well imagine Rennie taking no nonsense off anyone, laying their like he owns the place π€£. And 10kg gosh he's almost double the weight of one of my shih tzus although he is a small shih tzu.
Guessing they must all eat the same food, can't have picky eaters when there's so many!
One of mine has always been picky, I had to tip his food onto the floor until I finally got him trained to eat from a bowl at 18 months old π.
The good thing about cats is they're always keeping themselves clean. I've often got one or other of mine in the sink/under the taps. I've had to start grooming them myself now from 2 yrs ago but got it organised with the right equipment more or less.
I use a spider-catcher for their poop collection in the garden so c 8 a day plus next door's cats' presents π€£ππ€£. It's very handy, I can bend down but can't guarantee I'll get back up its very awkward but a necessary evil.
Millie looks very self assured, one of mine won't sit on my lap, just sits next to me which is fine, he growls like a tiger if he doesn't want to do something (like being groomed! π€¨ππ ). I don't try to brush them every day but don't always but keep them in a fairly short coat.
I hope you have a lovely week and are able to sort out/keep stable on any new medication (beta blockers if you need to restart them). I've got used to my BBs now - my side effects are manageable now, dizzy and nausea especially in the mornings but I'm on a low dose (2.5 mg Bisoprolol) but they work keeping my heart rate stable, except for when I have an infection then it's all over the place again and have to get antibiotics quickly.
Take good care Amberpearl and hope you have a sunny day up their! And especially on Wednesday for your special day π€π« xx

Good morning Agnia π
What a lovely thread this is ποΈ no dogs allowed here! Thank you for starting Cool Cats.
I want to apologise to Santosha and Amberpearl for gate-crashing the thread yesterday. They were having a chinwag and I clumsily posted about wild cats. Just badly timed - I was reminded of my younger self interrupting conversations like that. I should have waited until today. I know I will be forgiven and that it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but I did a bit foolish afterwards.
Anyway, happy Monday to all you cat lovers. Sorry I can't upload photos!

Me, Santosha interjecting here π. Absolutely NO need to apologise, I have a tendency to always go off on a tangent and can turn any conversation around..... to dogs π€£π€£. So always feel free to interject, I need reining in sometimes, back to the topic at hand. Your post re Wildcats btw was very interesting !

Well I can't not post pet photos when I see the right discussion. So here's Mitzy and Deez. I rescued them many years back and unfortunately Deez is no longer with us, but it was a cute pic, so I have to share.
Drying off after a bath on my/her Oodie. π

Albus, this reminds me of a long polar bear skin (fake) we had which was completely flat but with a solid polar bear head and paws. So soft and cuddly it was, also sadly no longer with us thanks to me and my decluttering π
1 -
Oh no @WhatThe! This is why you should never declutter! We have our doom piles for a reason. π
