    I get my pension next month do I have to notify anyone? I claim housing benefit and pip - esa will be grateful for reply

    Is this a state pension or a private pension?

    Means tested benefits like housing benefit and ESA may be affected by your pension, but PIP won't be as that is not means tested. There's some information about pensions on the Scope website in case you find it useful:
