My thoughts are if you have more than one condition all other illnesses merge through the day so would be constant how can they prove there not like myself bpd bdd pmdd anxiety depression awaiting adhd autism test what they want to tell me it's nit constant because it is especially non stop chatter in my head could go on and on they can do one I bet thier feeling the heat well imagine us years upon years of constant bullying from the system they have homes money will always be ok it's egos we are dealing with where ours is our life's I have so much respect for every mp who signed letter they listened

Ten major charities have issued a joint briefing condemning the Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment Bill as Labour continues to insist it will go ahead with Tuesdays vote, in spite of a large scale rebellion.
The charities behind the report are: Scope, Trussel, Mind, Citizens Advice, Sense, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, New Economics Foundation, Child Poverty Action Group, Z2K, Turn2Us.
Amongst the finding is the briefing are:
As a % of GDP, the UK government is spending the same amount on working-age benefits as it was in 2015. This stands at around 5% and is not projected to change by 2030. This is because we have seen deep cuts to benefits like Universal Credit alongside the increase in people claiming health and disability benefits.
We spend a similar amount on these benefits as comparable countries in the OECD. Even considering the more recent increase in claims, our overall spend on disability benefits as a % of GDP is similar to or lower than that of countries including France, Australia and New Zealand.
The provisions in this bill would reduce support for over 3.2 million disabled people. They will push between 300,000 and 400,000 people into poverty. They will also drive 440,000 people in disabled households into severe hardship – a measure of deep poverty which captures people likely to need to use a food bank.
Added investment in employment support will, at most, result in between 1-3% of the 3.2m people seeing their support cut move into work.
83% of the public has heard of the planned cuts, with 58% saying they are a bad idea and just 32% saying they are a good idea.
You can download a copy of the joint briefing from this link. Definitely worth sending details to your MP, regardless of whether they signed the amendment. Sadly, unless Labour cancel the vote on the bill scheduled for Tuesday, then there is no reason for campaigners to ease off.

To get pip it’s not about the condition itself but how it affects you so how can they say it’s only for conditions that are constant with no remission as other conditions affect us too

What he is he going on about ?. I receive pip and I am working 12 hours a week claim lcwra as well. If I can't get pip because I can wash my hair, ignoring the fact I have morphine for pain for my back and knees. How is making PiP more difficult to obtain stop me from going to work. Pip help me stay in work with lcwra. I could not work anymore than 12 hours a week so take away pip and lcwra I just well be unemployed and have all my rent paid and live that way.
The man never has a plan from day one that makes any sense. Let's hope one day his family never need benefits support again . Because he try to ruin thousands of people lives. His proposal of change if passed will live on for years after he gone as prime minister.

Sorry to rant but can someone please inform the Prime Minister pip is not work related it does not stop you going to work because you receive it .

Exactly so it's not the diagnosis but it is the diagnosis who wants to label themselves but seems have to which I hate so you go into remission for one day then next day pain back worse it's all a farce and been proven to be already geez this is draining

Neither has my MP. Never replied to my communications regarding "reforms". A new PPS!

Apparently the whips are claiming some who have signed are removing their names. If that happens then those MPs would be losing massive trust and support.
Who knows though, maybe they're only saying that to pretend they have control of the situation to scare others.

My MP is on the list which I am very happy to see. Her reply to me indicated she was all for the bill and talked about how it will help people get jobs and how we have high unemployment in our area. I did reply to her but not heard anything, but seems she has taken some points on board by myself and no doubt others.

The Whips told MPs that the Welfare Cuts bill was a "confidence vote" in Starmer (meaning if govt lose the vote Starmer will go)...and the number of Rebels went up. Looks like MPs thought it was a 2-for-1 offer
