@Catherine21 I had a terrible anxiety attack yesterday and I am still shaking.. I am scared I am always scared I will lose my benefits. They move me to UC and now scared they will pay less.. this is no life. Now I read Tories will move the agenda towards really cutting benefits . So far labour can't because their own party members are against so they can not make the cuts or not as many as they wanted
But the Tories really will cut everything this time if they win. All parties blame the sick for how the country is doing. Other parties will be worse. I don't think reform will do anything only worse. He is aiming towards NHS and making it private. They been wanting all parties to do so or.most of them. The situation is not rosy at all..yes I am petrified. Politically is even more scary. Nobody cares for the sick as I feel they see as as a burden to society . I am trying to be optimistic. But this is too scary. The system will need to create jobs sick people can do. I hope they will not cut benefits on purpose. But it is scary.... And hard to not stop thinking about it... It is better not to read any newspaper..β¦

@Ranald you made me chuckle π Any connection to Rab C is purely coincidental.
Hi @Teigr we are a lot better now appointments are easing off and I managed to rid myself of terrible anxiety leading.up to the wedding. It's shocking how the mind can affect the body, never ceases to surprise me!
Hope alls good with you and your family

Anxiety and panic attacks are awful. I lay down in bed. And I cN not breath. I stand up and still is hard to breath. I am like that all night. Until I am so tired that eventually I fall asleep. Honestly some people will understand but many will not . This is not quality of life. And All the rest . I would rather work if I could but I find it very hard.. anyway hopefully one day.... Thank you. People who are healthy are very privileged. But is better to avoid all news. They want us to feel scared and live continuously scared ..

@Catherine21I am watching the remains of the day right now.. but normally TV is just bad . always the same films. I tend to like the classic. When films were well made.. I have nothing really to see but watching all film4 films on a row. Freeview has some good old films.... But now any film will go just to keep my head busy

@Catherine21 medication is not working for me . They increased one and it will work until it does not. But I guess is better than nothing.. I am considering reducing and eventually stopping then as mental health medicines are not working neither is the pain related one. But I probably would rather try a more natural approach but honestly is just too depressing.. but out of routine I keep going... Considering to start taking with my doctors. I will give this year. And next will be a new one.. Less medication.. will see will see.
Now 5select channel 46 got Columbo. Same always but can't wait for the Time to go to bed. Tomorrow will be another day.

Sameof I could drive I probably would get a van too.. they need to see no income from anywhere . I play lottery as well. And one day I will win. I have an issue with scratch cards etc . Because I want to get out of the situation. Not relying on these people would be great .. but anyway one day.. but I play on desperation as well.

@Schildpad @Catherine21 I feel for you. I have panic attacks too, I can't leave my house at the moment. I need blood tests done at the hospital for my parathyroid , but I just can't do it, it's so hard getting people to understand, my eldest son who has Autism and other Neurodivergent's shouts at me he is 33, and struggles with the same thing, but his way with dealing with me is to shout, which gives me panic attacks and just makes things worse. It's so difficult for people who feel like this, I worry about the wars in Ukraine, Africa, gazza and Iran and other countries. I stay up until the early hours and watch American shows it's Chicago fire, meds, and pic it takes my mind off other things I worry about. Although alot of people don't understand there are alot of people who do. Try and do what helps you to switch off, and relax. take each day as it comes.

The carnival was very good @Rosie_Scope.The weather wasn't great, but if it's too hot it's difficult for the people who are dressed as gorillas.π

@Catherine21 it is very hard, coupled with pain and struggling with things like foggy brain and looking after other people in need also adds to all the stress and it's effects on family life can make you feel guilty. That's definitely my normal. For several years I've gone down hil with l my physical and mental health. Being a carer to my lads on top of my own struggles has and still is a struggle. None of use claim carer's allowance as we all have different care needs, it would just add to the confusion. The state of the government definitely causes us more stress and worry, it feels like we have to fight for everything just to get by, the green paper was just a kick to our already difficult life's. Im glad for any wins and changes to the reform.
