Does anyone have advice for wheelchair user in a kitchen?

We are a Community Cafe in Cornwall that is volunteer led and aims to be inclusive in all things. We've taken on a young volunteer (17yrs) who loves baking who really wants to volunteer her time to bake cakes etc in the kitchen.
The cafe itself is accessible, and there is space enough for her to navigate the kitchen but I'd really like some advice about what we should consider about any risks to her using a small commercial kitchen for baking. Does anyone here have any experience using a non-adapted kitchen? Any advice or tips about the risks of using ovens or carrying hot things (or dropping hot things on a lap?)
It seems she was forced to home educate after the local high school were unable to accommodate her accessibility needs (her health condition being relatively new to her) and I don't want to be another example of lost opportunity…
Any thoughts, or ideas of who to contact for advice would be gratefully received!

That is so nice to hear, well done for trying to give this young lass a chance.
I hope someone can offer suitable advice here?
