@Catherine21 the RSPB sites are protected similar to the National Trust, there are alot of them all over the UK. you can join the RSPB and go onto any of the sites, you get a car sticker and pass, their magazine. If you want to visit some of the bigger sites you can have volunteers who operate the car park and charge a small amount to go on the site. Some have a shop, such as one in Weymouth and Slimbridge.

I love Robins and Wrens but my favourite birds are owls, which i never seem to see and pirds of prey such as Marsh Harriers that ive seen in Norfolk and kites down south.

Spring Watch go on alot of the RSPB sites some of which I've been too. You can see deer's and bat's, I love nature and the sounds of different birds. It's so peaceful.

Hi @Elvisdog - saw these today when visiting an arboretum with my son & his wife. They showed flying displays of owls, & later some hawks. It was quite something as they swooped overhead!

Here's one of the hawks we saw later. My son was sat beside me, & actually had to duck as it swooped in to land just above him

@chiarieds beautiful picture's. I hope you and your son and his wife enjoyed seeing them, they are so magnificent close up, especially with their wings open, i would have ducked to. If you ever get the chance to hold one they are heavier than you expect, I held a Haris Hawk at a garden centre, I had a picture taken, but it's on an older sd card. I love watching them.

Good morning all. It’s not the start that I wanted today. Had a dispute with the neighbour over him blocking the driveway to my house. Some people are so selfish

I know exactly what you mean. It’s the same here. Everyone is parking near a blind corner, then they wonder why there’s accidents. I lost it with him. The way he spoke to my wife was disgusting. He knew she was on her own. Once I came outside he wasn’t as mouthy. He’s a coward

    Good morning.

I have woken up to a beautiful day and a sea view here in Cornwall.

@somedays my son argued with my neighbours next door a month ago, as they block a shared entry and left rubbish (Birmingham has ongoing bin strike) outside our house. I try to get along with them, and keep the peace. it's a love hate relationship. Both my son and the neighbours wife are very hot headed. My other neighbours are all lovely. It's hard with troublesome neighbours, nowadays it's very common, as we fight for space and peace.

that’s right. There’s really no need for any of it. All it causes is stress, and that’s the last thing any of us need with these welfare cuts going on
