Hi, my name is zebadee!
I need some help. My friend has been on LCW for over 2. Years. Their work coach asked for them to reconsider, she sent in updates with medical evidence and was awarded LCWRA. The response from DWP was that they changed the decision from August 2023. And the entailment would start from November 2023. They got one months back date and the payments have gone up. But should they not back date it to November 2023??

From what you've posted I think your friend might be entitled to more backpay than he received.
He can submit a Mandatory Reconsideration of the decision not to backdate, with an independent appeal tribunal hearing being the next step if they don't change the decision.
He can also speak to a trained benefits advisor for advice.
