Hi, my name is lyndana! Can I change my motability car for another? It is always in for repairs

Ive had my motorbility car since January and it's been in repairs 3 times since I've had it.The seat belt on passenger side is defective and the alarm keeps going off.im sick of this and it's going in for repairs again on 15th August 2025 for the same reason.can I change this car for another (vauxhall mokka)?

    You would need to contact Motability and discuss your issues.

    Sorry to hear that @lyndana, that must be really restrictive. As Kimi87 says, it's probably best you discuss this with Motability. They'd be the best people to know whether you can exchange it for something with fewer issues.

    I spoke to Motability about changing my car early as it is not fit for purpose and they agreed, I just have to pay £250 for an early termination fee and I can still change to a different car once, but after that I have to wait until the end of the lease.

    I have to say, I am not impressed with the dealer or the service I have received from them, so I am hoping to get my next car from a different dealer.

    Have you considered the Inster 02, it is nil advance payment.
