    @Grumpy1314

    Yeah my friend says the cinema seem to be recycling lots of stuff. I guess as someone who is quite new to it I'm lucky as it's all new experiences to me. My friend says she's worried about the future as less and less people go, which is obviously nice when you're there but not sustainable as a business

    Your dog looks so kind. I know what you mean. We have a Border Collie and I've never been too tactile with him because with severe OCD I couldn't touch him, so he knows his boundaries with me. However, I came home and burst into tears yesterday and he came up to me and tried to nuzzle onto my lap and just wanted to know what was going on ❤️

    I only have Freeview and it is always the same. Same stuff over and over again ..... considering Netflix.. but maybe it is the same.. repeat after repeat....

    Hi @Schildpad, I've popped you a direct message about the spam filter. Sorry about that - It's extra sensitive at the minute. Regarding Netflix, I've noticed the top 10 and new films/series changes quite often these days so I find there's always something to watch 😊

    I’ve just watched Wednesday series two part one,

    Watched Surranne Jones drama Hostage which was good.

    An actress that grew up a stones throw from where I lived for 28 years, nice nod to Oldham Athletic in the programme which I liked.

    I love binge watching dramas, going to find something else to watch or jump back into Star Wars Clone Wars series.

    I got rid of my telly last Friday, and i wish I had done it sooner!

    I am currently listening to Kairat Almaty v Celtic in Kazakhstan. The radio and Internet access is enough for me. When I locate an old crt portable, one not costing 300 quid, I will get my Sega Master and Megadrive back up and running.

    @Ranald

    That's interesting 🤔 😊

    I always thought the same, I lived without TV for over 10 years but now starting to appreciate something in the background, though I guess you can get that on a computer now, or radio like you say

    i am not sure.. sometimes i like the idea of not having tv.. i probably would read more etc… it is true sometimes i am with the computer and having it as a background noise. i am not sure i can live with out it. or it would be very hard. and the older i get the more i appreciate it in the back ground.. it is not just the sound but the images as well.. but maybe it would take some efford and ii would be able to do more stuff.. but maybe tv license will be harassing me and not believe i do not have a tv…. i am not sure but i thought about it in the pass. i know of a person who does not have a tv… he relies in internet… etc…

    I would have a big telly if I thought there was anything worth watching. The only thing I watch is Sportscene and some news programmes. I can do that adequately on my tablet. I am still keeping my tv licence.

    I'm having a small whisky as not had one for a good while. I went for Deanston 12 year old mostly as it was at the front of my whisky cupboard but it's half empty so I must like it. It's nice so far 😊

    I love watching tv, it’s a coping strategy for my mental health. I can just sit there watching a box set and shut down.

    I’ve got Sky as my tv provider, with that I’ve got Netflix, Sky Movies, Sky Sports and Sky Store - the latter I’ve got a good library of movies to watch.

    I also have a subscription with Disney+, Paramount Plus, Discovery Plus and through EE I also have a Subscription to TNT Sports.

    With my Sky Home set up, I have a playlist set up for all the tv series that I watch, alongside the football, motorsport and documentaries that I watch to. There is also a library of movies stored there for easy access to.

    I kind of get that, depending on the program I guess you can engage with it as much as you want or feel up to?

    Do you like to watch stuff you know, or are you happy watching things you haven't seen?

    I often watch the same videos on YouTube before I go to sleep, I guess because they're safe as I know what happens. I say watch but I mean listen to as watching keeps me awake, but I watch compilations of stuff like the Top Gear News, or Ricky Gervais Show 😆

    I tend to watch old box set’s that I’ve watched before, or seek something new out.

    I like to watch car documentaries on Discovery, Wheeler Dealers being one or Car Sausage on National Geographic.

    I watch a variety of things on You Tube, many of them cat videos with you tubers rebuilding crashed cars. I also like to watch the shorts and find myself doom scrolling on the phone 🤦‍♂️ I like to watch animal videos, keep on top of football news, watch any highlights of sport I have missed, alongside that I watch comedy videos, old ones of Billy Connolly, Robin Williams etc.

    I also keep up to date with military news - more so on equipment and troops rather than war itself.

    I also follow a tank collector and restorer called Mr Hewes that does some great videos.

    If it’s got an engine, then I’m there, now if it’s got an electric hoover motor in racing form I’m not interested. But I also follow a lot of motorsport people on you tube or watch old classic f1 races.

    @Grumpy1314

    Sounds like a diverse mix 😊

    That's interesting about military.. is that something from your past or just an interest? Of course goes without saying please don't answer if not comfortable. I always would have liked some kind of military career if I'd never had health issues, I kind of liked the sound of the community and the culture
