Good morning everyone
@Grumpy1314 thanks for sharing that family history, very interesting to read 😊
I've never known much about military service in my family because those who were still alive when I was born were too young to serve in WW2. I do have a relative who grew up in a very middle class family - learnt how to drink tea from a teapot and always wore a hat outside etc. When he was called up it was a shock to his system seeing men eating their breakfast wearing a vest at the table and swearing, and he said after the inevitable first few weeks of being ribbed for being the posh boy he absolutely loved it

Good morning.
We had a bit of rain here and now the sun has made an appearance.
I have to go for a full body bone density scan today to see if I have osteoporosis and I am meeting friends later.
I hope you all manage to have a good day.

I hope goes well for you today

Sounds very productive @Grumpy1314 ! Have you looked into any apps to help with bills and such? I also get terrible brain fog and always forget bill dates, so I always try to get them paid at the start of the month, but I'm also using an app called "Snoop" now (not officially endorsed by Scope, personal opinion, etc etc) and I've found it really useful with bills. I've not been caught out by any in months now. Plus it caught a direct debit I thought I'd cancelled last year.

nice cat.. the people came but my room did not need to be checked so they did not enter… but afterwards i just could not find the courage of leaving the room so i did not go to my wednesday s volunteering. i can do this in the place i volunteer but i could not do that in a proper job. and that is the problem….. so i do not think i will be ever prepared… have a good day…. and i really would like to be prepared for to do some kind of job but i am not sure it will ever happen.. anyway.. enjoy the day.. weather is not great… it might rain…

I think I get what you mean about work. I often get the same where if I'm made to do something, or if someone is counting on me, I find it harder to do what I could easily have done if it were left to my discretion
It's like if I promise to meet someone somewhere at a certain time it's suddenly really hard working out how I'll get there but if I was just going there in my own time it would be easier

I don't really agree*, it goes without saying, though I kinda get the impression you don't either deep down?? Like if you really thought it was true you'd just disappear without a trace but you're posting on here so you must realise there are people who think you're worth listening to
It's weird as I get the same about my self worth but I don't like hearing someone else say stuff I'd happily say about myself 😆 my support worker told me to not say things about myself that I'd not say to a friend, that kind of helped me think about stuff a bit differently
*actually I agree with a lot like the mental system and the politics but not the overall conclusion about yourself

66Mustang, Like if you really thought it was true you'd just disappear without a trace but you're posting on here so you must realise there are people who think you're worth listening to
I'm not sure I agree. It strikes me as a little insensitive even if you mean well.

The guy is truly amazing. WE can see that. Nobody should be asked to justify why they are here though. I hope you know that I mean well, too.

@Grumpy1314 I feel quite teary reading your post, I recognise myself in your feelings of despair, alot of us on this site, will have likely felt like you at some point in time, especially when you have a mental health diagnosis.
Im sure you are not un lovable. I read your posts on hear. Yesterday you talked about your passion for war and history memorabilia. I didn't post, as it isn't anything I'd understand much about. But it was nice to read your posts and see a shared passion with another person on here.
I think we all have up and down days and feel really down at times. You have been through some very hard times. Give yourself time to heal and do what you can, when you can.
You have shared about your plants and getting your flat sorted out, small steps but some positive ones.
@66Mustang & @WhatThe i don't think any one, was meaning to be insensitive. We are a bunch of people who all have different diagnosis's, challenges and hardships. We just need to try and understand that we all have different ways of saying things. I think the fact we are reading each other's post's shows we care.
P.s I loved the cat picture. Your advice for bills was a good share too.
Im sure i made my bed, before she sneaked in.
