At least we can sort of relax for a bit.

Had a letter today saying my review is still not complete and they have extended my award to August 2026.

A good thread, that shows all the hassle we all have trying to claim PIP. I filled out all my forms myself at a time I knew nothing about PIP. Progressed an MR and been to a tribunal. Happy you all were successful with your awards!
Since talking about length of awards, I didn't ask for a longer award but I got a long award this time and it was extended equaling more than 10 years? Maybe that is why yours is over 7 years @OverlyAnxious If you are not going to improve everyone should get 10 years.

Received this today :/
This is a message from Health Assessment Advisory Service. We conduct Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions DWP. This is for information only, to let you know that we are managing your PIP assessment. We will look at the available evidence and will contact you with an appointment if we need to arrange an assessment with you. You can find information about the service we provide at
https://www.haas-serco.co.uk
You do not need to contact us.

Hi @Ray212
That's a very standard text message to receive from them so please don't worry. Hopefully you won't have to wait much longer now1 -
Oh @Ray212 I'm sorry you're still waiting!!! That sucks 😔 I didn't get that text, all of mine were from DWP, but I did get a similar one and I still had a paper assessment ❤️
Mine said:
Blah blah "You may still need an assessment with a health professional." blah
I hope you get some progress soon! The waiting is horrible and every text a reminder!

As Mary said it is a standard message. It means the company mentioned are progressing your PIP Assessment. They will look at all the evidence you have sent in. If you have sent in enough evidence, a Paper based Assessment will be progressed and you will not be contacted for further information. If they think there is not enough evidence, they will contact you to arrange a phone Assessment. Sometimes they may just call you about a few points to clarify something, where you are not on the phone too long too. Hope this helps!
