I'm now playing Capcom Classics Vol 2 on the PS2, I think it's a lot better than the first one. It's when playing games like these that it reminds me that I really want to get an arcade stick for the PS2, and a mouse or track ball (if there is one) for Block Block, but I just never get around to it.

My favourite games on it are:

    King of Dragons

    Knights of The Round

    Side Arms

    Three Wonders: Chariot

    Block Block

I think if you find one for cheap enough on ebay, read the description and contact the seller to make sure there aren't any faults with it, then if they say there aren't any faults and they have good enough feedback, especially 100% and they've sold plenty of other things, then you should be able to trust that the telly will be okay.

A while back I bought a clear orange matching controller and memory card for my PS2. Also recently did the same for my frosted yellow PS2, unfortunately though the controller was damaged in the post.

Oh no @Ross1975 has the seller said if they'll replace it or not? What a loss!

I haven't played video games properly for years (unless we're counting the sims!!!) but I always used to LOVE playing Saints Row 2 with my brothersโ€ฆthough in hindsight we definitely weren't old enough to be playing it๐Ÿ˜„

A tv with a video player, old games consoles and a shelf of DVDs

This is my gaming setup! I adore video games, especially the classics like Mario on the NES. My favourite PS1 game has to be Time Crisis, although I don't have a CRT tv to be able to play it ๐Ÿ˜”

I'm dead jealous of that set up @Rachel_Scope I remember the NES coming out and spending a lot of time playing Duck Hunt at a friends, I used their huge mountain dog as an arm rest for aiming on. ๐Ÿ˜„

I have played a lot of Dune Awakening over the past month. Far too much in fact. ๐Ÿ˜†

I also have that first model of PS2, a later model of the 360, a blue Wii, and the older model of PS1 (the grey one), I don't have a NES though. And a VCR, lol.

I requested a return and they've asked me to post it back to them, I guess I'll either get a refund or a replacement.

At least you have the photos to show it arrived damaged @Ross1975 so fingers crossed they'll sort it for you. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'd not heard of the ZX Spectrum so had to look it up. It reminded me of my Amstrad which took 5 minutes to load games that were on cassette tape!

There's an arcade in Leeds that has all the classic games like Pong, Frogger, and my favourite, Track and Field. I'm terrible at it but it's so addicting. I've brought my son up on all the classic games and now he wants to be a games developer!

Oh you are naming some absolute classics there @Chris75_ Double Dragon took up a lot of my time in the old arcades. Along with the Aliens game, that was great.

I was too young to smoke at that point @Chris75_ but I was old enough to beat the game whilst chewing on fairground doughnuts. ๐Ÿ˜†

I remember the Sinclair Spectrum, the Amstrad console with tapes, and the Acorn Electron.

The first Atari was a real-life save as I had to do three months in isolation in the hospital and my mum could only spend some days with me. I met a nurse back then who introduced me to a game called DigDug. She would come back after her shifts and continue trying to beat each other's scores. I'm still friends with her today and have fond memories of the blisters on our thumbs from the non-stop gaming!

These days I was lucky to be gifted a PS5 for my birthday and still have my PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4. Just can't get rid of them as I've spent a lot of time playing them after many operations.

I mainly play GT7 on PS5 and have found a UK-based racing club who are so friendly and makes everyone welcome even if your skill level isn't great.

I have also been searching for hand control adaptations for a sim wheel and I have found a community on Discord of disabled sim racers all with adapted wheels or ideas on how to help each other find a solution to race as I can't use pedals for a long race session.

I have the details of both clubs but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post them on here.

I still need to go back and finish the FF7 remake games @RachaelC, I started playing the newer one a few months back, but ended up just running around with Red VIII slapping things. I love that lil guy. ๐Ÿ˜†
Clair Obscur is giving me strong FF vibes, but the storyline is a proper tear-jerker.
