Lwcra - Over 3 months wait for payment after supplying fit notes

I started sending sick notes from June 9th and have just been awarded lcwra they're saying I will receive a higher amount from November why is it longer than 3 months for the payment, and do I have to ask for the back pay or is it automatically given

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your award. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.
Often the AP in which the Fit Note was handed in does not count, due to it being a partial assessment period.
Looking at your dates it's quite possible no backpay is owed, and your entitlement to LCWRA element payment starts from November.
