I picked up these two bottles of cherry Pepsi with retro labels from the clearance shelf at just 93p each at Tesco. I'm sure the cherry flavour is stronger than what it has been with cherry Pepsis and cherry Cokes that I've had in the past, it is really nice.

@hopeless, awwww, I'd four rescue "pigs" back in the day.. they were adorable. Wonderful little friends to share your life with, id also three brilliant dogs, rescue hamsters, fish and birds all together. I miss them all. I couldn't do it now,too many health problems, but how I wish I could. Sharing your life with other living beings is a life in full. Xx

Here's a pic I took last night of our new house guest. She cant fly, so we're rehabilitating her and giving her somewhere warm to recover. She has claimed that plant pot as her nest. β€οΈ

Thankyou for taking care of her, pigeons get alot of hate usually. It hurts when I see kids trying to kick them and parents just let it happen. Like all animals they should be treated with the same respect as humans. Every animal has every right to be on this earth as we do.
My support worker wants me to get a cat as he thinks it will be good for me, and stop me from being so lonely. He's going to take me to look at some at a shelter some time. (Which I'm excited for but also anxious as I'll want every animal there). But i'm a big animal lover.

I've been raised by a family of animal lovers, so it's second nature for me to take in any animal that's unwell and needs a helping hand @rubin16 though it can get expensive haha. Pigeons have a lot of negative press, but I'm glad to see social media is jumping on the "respect our pigeons" train at the moment.
Oh wow, that'll be great for you, I hope you find the purrrrrfect companion. π

That's a sweet way to see the world. I always think it's sad that some animals get looked out for more than others, just because they're cute. We're supposedly moving way from that as a society when it comes to humans but there are animals too that can be the sweetest even though they don't look fluffy or have big eyes

You might find that your guest becomes a resident! A friend of mine took in 2 injured pigeons and though they recovered they never left her garden when released. Sensible feathers

We've got a few flocks of around 40ish pigeons that visit at different times during the day @Hopelessand I'm noticing the 3 pigeons we've already nursed back to health amongst them. So I'm glad to see out pigeon hotel has got a 5 star rating.π

Took this photo yesterday of a photo on my tablet (not used/charged for several years) of two of my fur babies; only realised yesterday it was the day the ladies
were born π.
The photo below is last year when the twins (non identical π ) were 7 years old.

SoOOOoo, this is a picture of a stray cat that myself and a few of my neighbours have been feeding in recent months who has just given birth to 3 precious ginger kittens whom are all living in a plant pot!
She arrived on our road about 3 months ago with red infected eyes and only looked a few months old herself, however after a few weeks we all noticed her tummy was getting bigger.
She was a very skittish cat and would never allow any of us to get close to her so all we could do was feed her outside to make sure she didn't go hungry whilst trying to find out if anyone owned her (which no one has claimed)
She must have given birth around 3 weeks ago but none of us were able to locate where she hid the kittens until today. Im just hoping that we can now find a kind cat rescue organization willing to help us so they can be rehomed to loving homes and live a life that they deserve. I know so many rescue places are full to the brim at the moment, but If I can ask my fellow Scope members to send positive energy regarding this situation id really appreciate it!!! π»

Oh I do hope they can get good homes and stay safe in the meantime. You and your neighbours are good souls that yous are looking out for them @Kiki23. I'm a Reiki master (not practised for a while) but will send positive, healing energy. It helps if I know roughly where, doesn't have to be named city or town, NW/SW etc is fine.
