    A bulb exploded and tripped the power

    Nightmare had to use a torch.. Was 6am

    Nira of bulb allover the rug

    It's completely burnt out

    I need a new light fittings

    Good morning (or almost afternoon!) everyone 💛

    It's definitely turned chilly lately. Snuggled up under a blanket this morning with some thick socks on. Although I do that for most of the year so not much change here, just thicker socks!

    Sounds scary about the light bulb, hope you're alright @Amberpearl. Stay safe! Can someone come out to have a look for you?

    Much chillier down here in Wales as well but I don't mind as I've cracked out the big winter dressing gown and its keeping me warm!

    Good afternoon everyone I am hoping to do some training on Sunday for Girl Guides but I'm not sure if I can make it because I had the flu vaccine yesterday and my carers full of cold.

    good evening…. i survived yet another day… anyway. i am not sure what i will be doing tomorrow… i probably will pop out for a bit and back home as weather is not very good.. it is kinda humid and cold.

    i am very scared of everything related to electricity. i try to switch off the main and change the light bulb and then i am very scared to switch the mains back on. .. so i try to do it with my eyes closed and covering my ears… i do not like it..

    Schildpad, you don't need to turn off at the mains - just at the wall.

    Morning everyone. So cold this morning! Hope you're all managing to stay warm.

    Is anyone up to anything fun today? Think I'll just be finding something cosy to watch this evening and maybe do some crafting. I've been teaching myself to needle felt so my fingers are a bit sore but I'm enjoying myself 😄

    Oh @Catherine21, that's horrible. It's never okay for someone to hit someone like that and the things he has said to you are definitely not okay either. Does your dad get any help from social services? Do you think he'd be eligible or open to it? It sounds like a lot for you to handle on your own.

    Perhaps he's got his own demons going on, but it's not right for him to treat you like that when you're just trying to help him. Please try to look after yourself today after hearing all those hurtful things, that can't be nice to deal with at all.

    @Catherine21 No need to apologise, we're all here to listen and support each other. What you're going through is hard and it's no wonder you need to get it off your chest 💜

    It sounds like you're doing your very best to help him but remember that you're important too and you don't have to accept someone treating you like that.

    i still feel anxious and been overwhelm yesturday when was beer festival in different town . again with my parents and older sister & her boyfriend but did ended leaving . i don't feel like i fit in no matter who i with and is same with both of my parents and as well of my older sister . i feel more heard over here then bother with my parents or my older sister since i know they can't get what i want from them with emotion .
