@Doglover2 are you unable to care for many animals due to your disability? I've never even heard of a wood pigeon. I looked it up and found this. Is this for real?? It looks gorgeous!!

So sorry to hear about Albus. Condolences for his family and all of you who knew him better than me. Iβm away just now, but we have loads of pigeons at home. Iβll take a picture when Iβm home.

this was my beautiful girl Holly I saved 5 years ago, she only passed away two weeks ago and Iβm devastated . She was my whole world . Pigeons are so loving and she followed me all over the house and loved her cuddles and kisses. In memory of dear Albus and Holly xxx

Holly is gorgeous @sensitivegirl, she sounds like such a sweet and loving little lady. So many people don't realise that pigeons can be wonderful companions, but I hope part of Albus' legacy is that more people learn what sweet birds they are. I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing her with us π

I have a porcelain figurine family of white doves to share in honour of Albus. It's very delicate, gentle and joyful....

Feeding my local flock of pigeons on Erith Pier. There is a sign instructing not to feed the pigeons, so we ignore that.

Pigeon Power, we as humans underestimate those feathery friends, when i was homeless and losing the plot and no human seemed to care, well i think and feel pigeons care, they do not judge, they don't ask for anything and yet they will approach you, i used to sit with them and talk, Humans thought i was mad, but i truley beleive the pigeons helped me get through some tough times, so thumbs up to Albus and our pigeon friends
