Phone claim for UC NOT online.
Hi, all I wonder how long does it take to receive a verification call after migrating from IR-ESA, i done my claim on the 14th November via CAB help to claim.
Do I need to also inform Council Tax, housing benefits.
Thanks in advance.

Unless you live in supported or sheltered housing, your rent will now be paid under UC (Housing Element)
UC will notify HB about your claim.
Council Tax yes that's a good idea, as they aren't guaranteed to be notified.
They'll reassess your claim based on UC award, some local authorities treat UC differently to legacy benefits and some people have seen an increase in the amount of CT they have to pay.

@Kimi87 Thanks, Yes I understand that, and I will have to pay full amount of C Tax.
This is the main question how long does it take to receive a verification call after migrating from IR-ESA, i done my claim on the 14th November.
I did the the UC commitment's over the phone on the 14th.

@Catherine21 Thanks for your answer,👍 most helpful, I have got my ID check on Wednesday this week confirmed by UC, so hoping that's it then, I hate all the stuff you put in on your phone then they ask you for all of it again…
I've asked to be given split payments and rent to be paid direct? Should I ask the guy on Wednesday to confirm all these things are done.
I'm hoping once ID is done I can relax once everything moves over to LCWRA as I was in the Support Group. How are you finding the phone claim it feels like a tag atmo🤣 Will they send us letters as we don't do online.

@Catherine21 thanks again for a fuller answer, good to know, my CAB guy was very decent too. He said any issues call back.
I will be speaking to my housing next Monday to set it up. When I had that commitment call they said I don't have to provide fit notes or any work commitments either so guessing they can see I was in the SG anyway.
I have a full driving license which will be one that's useful and bank card plus loads of others if needed.
Must ask how did you get your statement? Was it a letter or text? As I'm only phone only I was wondering how that works…

I had a benefits advisor from a charity help me do it online. I was a nervous wreck though, I think the build up of anxiety. I had a I D phone call. Rent going to be paid to the housing association, my uc 2 weeks, with new style esa. Get first statement on the 5th December
