Hey @Nightcity, I've been waiting on an ablation for a while now and at my many appointments with cardio I've posed almost every anxious thought and scenario to them 😅

Apparently while there's no direct comparison as they involve different groups, statistically giving birth is riskier than a heart ablation! It's considered a very low risk procedure and would only be done if the rewards is deeed to outweigh any potential risk! ❤️

I'd love to know how she gets on and sending kind thoughts to both of you ❤️❤️

Thanks so much, I hope you get yours through soon we've waited since may even though it was marked urgent following the cardiac arrest in March.

I really appreciate your post 💛💛

I will be thinking of you and your mum @Nightcity! I suppose the wait may have been to give her time to recover a little before undergoing more stress? How has she been since her cardiac arrest?

Thanks, I'll be thinking of you too and here for you in return when you get your procedure date.

She's unhealthily calm about it, she realises the odds of surviving are 1 in 20 and how stupendously lucky she was but she isn't worried about retrying the kidney transplant op (this is when it happened) so what should have been a great day became a dreadful one.

I in contrast can't forget it live in constant fear and paranoia about a repeat, she is so amazing and brave.

how you feeling about your current situation? you calm and stable with pulse etc
