How is your day going?

I could put the oxygen on and shove some vape liquid in it

It’s only the start of the day and I can’t shut off, millions of things running riot inside my head at warp speed. Just questioning my existence, my life’s choices, thinking of my family as my old man is 70 next week, then thinking of all the stuff I need to do in the flat and outside of the flat.
I’ve pushed myself the last few weeks, been to the cinema twice and been out to get my injections but then realised that it takes a mental toll on me, went to be on Saturday and couldn’t bring myself to get up until Tuesday Morning.
Like an eejit, I’m off to watch another film this Friday and I’m questioning about going due to how busy it’s going to start being and also gonna be full of kids as I’m watching Zootopia 2.I am my own worse enemy, I do something, I buy something and I just end up criticising myself, getting angry with myself and then that all just sends me into a huge downward spiral.

You need to give yourself credit though you did those things, thats an accomplisment you should be proud of. Just take each day as they come. Sometimes it gets overwhelming when we plan or look too much in the future.
I am very sensative to noise and can't do crowds, so cinemas for me would be torture.

So I know i'm weird and everything, but does anyone else sleep with the light on? I've never been able to sleep in the dark ever since I was born.
Annoyingly though people have obsession on turning the light off when i'm trying to sleep and it instantly wakes me up and I have to ask them to keep it on.
I also have my own blanket I can't sleep without, and literally take everywhere with me.

Been a long night, forgot to take my meds last night 🥱 very Baltic at the moment to say the very least, still got to put the plants and bulbs in the barrels! May have to resort to warming the soil with some warm water once planted.

I'm so sorry, losing any animal is devastating. I'm a massive animal person myself and couldn't imagine your heartbreak. Take care of yourself.

I don't like being in the dark, I will literally have a meltdown if you put me in a dark room.

sounds like Gus is hard to tire out, can imagine he is already set for another 8 miles

I'm sorry, I wish pets lived longer its devastating when we lose them. My cat died 2 years ago, she was 18 and had her since I was 14. Its hard to fill that gap again. My heart goes out for you.

We have a workshop. Ours were the busiest.. two people. Had to deal with a lot of people. Two people. When the rest of the facilitators have to deal with almost none. Problem is they got paid. We work for free. .I really feel used. Like cheap labour only we do not get pay . Not a penny.

Chris meet my old dog Ozzy The Prince Of Barkless - Staffy X Whippet - Runs like a Whippet and Pulls like a Staffy. He weighed 30KG, fair to say I miss the big daft lump, rescued him from poor circumstances with my ex in 2018, never barked, small yaps when he was asleep, was a very gentle soul, he is nearly 11 in Jan.
Sadly for him he lives with my ex wife! Not seen the lad in over two years.
When I get a dog for myself I’m considering a King Charles Spaniel and gonna train it up to be my Assistance Dog or Therapy Dog so I can take it in the shopping centre, cinema, cafes and medical appointments. Some charities that offer trained Assistance Dogs want over 20k for a Golden Retriever or Lab which would be to big a dog for me in my flat.

I simply do not want to get angry not stressed. But only after a long two hours they said .. you did great.... Some other facilitators who did not get paid. They stopped coming... I am not sure really. Even dogs get a treat..

Well that’s them ready to go back outside to be potted up! Proper Isle of Arran Oak Whisky Barrels.
Been running round like there is no tomorrow with parcels coming to the front door. Just hoping the drain un blocker is gonna work as I’ve been noticing a foul odour when I’ve been opening the bathroom door, despite an air freshener being present. I’ve shoved some down the kitchen sink and bathroom sink. Then put some in and around the silly shower drain. It’s one of those idiotic pump driven drains!

So sorry to hear that Catherine, I feel your pain. Although my Dig is still alive, I’ve not seen him since my ex dumped me in 2023 just over two years ago.

I want a dog that’s not gonna bark a lot with me living above an elderly neighbour and with cats and squirells around the area I live. Dog would be able to go on a long line or lead on the grass at the back and down on a field near where I live or I’d find a secure dog field.

I have a bichon frise @Zippy1983 and he pretty much ticks all the boxes you mentioned! He's such a friendly companion with a big personality so I would definitely recommend potentially looking into that breed
