Lcwra has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your payment.
No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

thanks been putting fit notes in over 15 month got awarded Lwcra 3 weeks ago moneys went down not up

Did you previously receive Transitional Protection before the LCWRA award?
If the answer is yes, I suggest you get advice from a trained benefits advisor as I suspect the following issue has occured

that’s what she mentioned something about protected so don’t think a will get anything back

Transitional Protection reducing when your UC award goes up is normal, but you shouldn't end up worse off overall, unless you've been impacted by that issue.
