Yeah do things in moderation, like its good to have answers but as the saying goes: "Fly too close to the Sun and you'll get burned" so give yourself time on other stuff too.
All the best.

Sunday 30th November:
My day is going ok. Despite being housebound the sun is shining outside and i have fantastic views stretching a long way. There is a new tomcat in the neighbourhood who always hisses at everything including trees, grass, and a bench every time he patrols our communal garden. Our two resident Foxes always give Mr Tomcat a very wide birth (probably a wise decision) because Mr Tomcat is big, like seriously big and i don't think he takes prisoners.

Mr Tomcat needs to meet Mr Gus!
2 -
Oh i say… i hope they NEVER meet!

That pic is Jan 2020, not 2019, but i can't believe how young his is there. Not even fully grown (20 months old).

A very beautiful dog Chris75

Thanks, mate. He is beautiful to every person he ever meets, but is very unkind to rabbits and mice. At 7 years and nearly 7 months, he has very slightly lost his edge in the chase.

I didn't teach him to chase cats, any more than I did rodents, but all terriers chase small furries given the chance.
He Is totally fine with sheep, cattle, and horses. Too much information i suppose, but he had to be discouraged from seeing sheep as mobile vending machines!

Hi Chris75, one of the things i miss in life is not managing to go more often out because as a young man travel was a big part of my life and usually involved wildlife / animals in some capacity. Going to the Highlands of Scotland to sketch wildlife was a yearly adventure for me. Golden Eagle and Scottish wildcat (felis sylvestris) being my two favourite animals. And as a child i was very lucky because we always had pets (cats + dogs).
Mr Gus looks so good - i am super jealous (in a nice way)

Dogs are expensive to keep, and i doubt i would have another one. For example, I was over £600 to have a cracked canine tooth removed last month. He is seldom at the vet, but even just buying his raw food is quite pricey.

OMG That's an enormous tooth!

Belated Happy Birthday @Catherine21!!
Wow that is one huge tooth @Chris75_!!0 -
Just cancelled flu jag on Thursday, as would be a logistical nightmare getting to another town, in a powerchair, and using public transport.
My cunning plan to get it done privately at the Boots along the road, it has backfired. There appear to be no appointments to book. There was me thinking I was being clever, getting it done in minutes, for 'only' £21.
