Yeah unfortunately in my case it's a bit more advanced and tricky, It's hard to explain but only about 1 in 20 will ever win me over to speak at all to them even hello.

Yes you'll be asked about things like your childhood, about routines, behaviours and reactions when routine; is broken or someone speaks to you etc,

    About writing, numbers,

various things so they can build up a comprehensive report and tell you if you're autistic and at what level from 1 to 3.

I read about the levels of it .

I watched a programme with Christine McGuiness wanting to know if she was and i could see alot of what she talked about within myself .

Ive already been diagnosed with adhd but there are other things about me that im not sure are adhd .

I suppose the assessment will answer yay or nay .

Grateful for all the feedback from you @Nightcity .

    If it isnt Autism

Ive no idea what it is

I don't know my level as I was diagnosed before they did the levels I think.

I was just told that my autism was somewhere between middle to severe.

I've had MH difficulties since I was very young too, I started getting schizophrenia symtoms when I was around 14.

But my schizophrenia isn't the usual kind, it was brought on through trauma of what happened when I was a child.

@Strawberry1 Tbh I'm so used to it all It doesn't bother me too much, I know I'll never live a normal life and when I lose my mum I'm absolutely ****** but that's nothing I can do about it.

@rubin16 that description is pretty much same as me then level 2 with Many aspect of 3.

2 is middle and 3 severe.

2 requires support of some kind, 3 significant support.

it's absolutely awful and degrading I have to rely on my mum for everything

I can use the washing machine but only on one setting (it took years literally to learn that) but I can't fold clothes, I can't cook.

I can't even walk through a door without banging my arm on the frame , if I throw something to someone it goes so far to the left or right, I trip over my own feet.

it sounds dramatic but it's truly wrecked my life really.

That makes sense, and i'm pretty much the same. Family do alot for me, and I have support workers who help me with everyday things (As live in special supported accomodation) and an STR worker who helps me cook simple meals.

Funny enough as well about the bumping into things, i'm constantly always doing that and forever have bruises on me. My coffee table, door frames, half open doors, lamposts its like either I don't realise they're there or I misjudge the width.

Glad you have the attitude that it doesnt bother you @Nightcity .

    That take so much strength

    Something i lack

Im glad you have your mum .

Im sure things will be put in place if anything happens to your mum

That path wont need to be wallked down for a while yet .

Both you and your mum are solid for years yet

One downside though I've found is i'm constantly treated like a kid, and anything important involving me with anything I have to have an "Appropriate Adult" with me.

unfortunately zero is in place as neither of us have a clue about any of it, I could probably live alone if someone could come in once a day to do a meal, fold washed clothes etc. My main problems going to be anything that involves phone calls or face to face it's literally not possible.

hope she'll be around but things need to change starting with this heart ablation on the 18th we need to reverse the heart failure, then get her through a re try of the kidney transplant it will make the difference between her having 2-5 years or 10-15.

@rubin16 I'm glad you have some help, seems the clumsy thing is common. is that a home where you have your own flat and get the help you want or do they try take over and change you?

As an adult that must be really difficult @rubin16 .

I am pleased there is a support network there for you even if it feels uncomfortable .

I dont know if i do have Autism if i dont have it im not sure what else it could be .

Having the adhd known to me makes a lot of sense but i know there is something else
