Thanks, I actually did for once. but woke up at like 5:40am in pain again but nurse came in like 10mins later with pain meds and wanting to check BP.

As I said previously, I currently have an issue with one of my legs and lying on my bed, so like you I may sleep during the day for a few hours then do something on my tablet (this forum etc) then have another doze. That's why I could be on here in the middle of the night.

ahh I see, I'm sorry to hear that, that sounds uncomfortable. I'm feeling abit better each day now so finally making progress. Doctor and Dietician are pleased, they say if I handle and tolerate food I can get the NG removed Monday, and if my pain keeps improving they will look at possibly getting me home sometime next week.
I've also managed to walk abit and get some fresh air, it causes me alot of pain and I can only walk slow, but its start and trying to do abit each day now to build myself up. I do need painkillers still when back, but atleast i'm not collapsing or getting stuck downstairs.
Abit of progress each day now, and finally moving in the right direction.
I hope your leg eases abit so you manage to get some rest, nothing worst than being in pain but being tired and wanting to sleep.

Thanks Rubin. Great you are on the mend, keep it up! If you have lost some unwanted weight, don't put it back on, you'll be better of without it! I know you said you had lost weight.
The leg pain is going, like your stomach is improving so is my leg!

I was rather chunky last month, now i'm quite slim and apart from being ill its one good thing to take away from this experience.

Iβm so happy you are getting better @rubin16. Just take it one day at a time, plenty of rest when you can and eat small portions but a few times a day so you have a better chance of keeping the food down. Take care

Its been great thanks, I woke up this morning feeling tons better and alot less pain, I started walking too (just going slow) but its nice to just be able to get some fresh air, i'm hoping my pain is even better in the morning, as its been improving each day now. Just waiting for my review on Monday to see if I can have tube out, and if so theres a big chance I could be home Monday or Tuesday.
Can't wait to get home now.

Great news Rubin, that's a good recovery day! Sounds like the recovery is going to continue too. Might be worth getting your Dad to put some heating on in your home before you leave hospital so it is warm for when you get there! In time to get your Christmas decorations up tooβ¦π
My leg is improving too, no pain now, so we are both improving!

Damn, really needed a Taxi to escape too. I slept really well for a change, abit too well as woke up tired. I guess I'm catching up on sleep now I have less pain and these 3/4 hours a night are catching up on me.
