Beginning of December as a rule

Mine are all up now. I tried the bubble candles but just one line of them on the tree didn't look right, there needs to be more (which I don't have) covering more of the tree, so I took them off.
I do have a set of regular lights for the tree but I've not put them on as I don't want to go to the trouble of taking off all of the baubles and then having to put them all on again.
I did try adding lametta to the main tree but it didn't look right at all, so I added some of it to the small tree which I think looks great. There are different methods to applying the lametta so I may try another one with the main tree.

Well we moved into an adapted bungalow six months ago and had to leave lots of our stuff and replaced stuff which included Christmas tree and decorations , I made a top hat for my tree and also made some new Christmas stockings , its completely different to what we've had and we love it . We put the tree up 30th November and here it is .

I'm so looking forward to my Chrimbo din dins tomorrow. I've got three joints, turkey, gammon, and beef, with pigs in blankets, pork and chestnut stuffing, duck fat roast spuds, honey roast parsnips and Bisto turkey gravy.
