I'm not getting into the hype of climate change, most weather is a natural occurrence most of the time to be honest. But back to the snow and ice of 62/63, no one in that time were allowed to miss school. Now if there's two or three flakes, they shut them and everything grinds to a halt😂

I think it was over ten years ago and a big Tescos was opening the days I used to venture out I had a pair of uggs imitation ones it was snowing but it was Christmas so I got a lift there omg when I came out was like a blizzard seemed everyone was waiting for taxi no word of a lie I waited over two hours for a taxi my feet soaked through shaking I was crying willing taxi to come took ages to get home 15 mins drive took forever I really dislike snow the older I get so scared to fall oh the joys I never forget that day

😂😂Nice one.
Going back to the weather, I can't remember all the fuss about it back in the 60s/70s or 80s for that matter. If it got hot, it got hot, if if it got cold it got cold, end of😂 But nearly 99% of the country carried on as usual.
It seems today that they're just that little bit softer, maybe it's the central heating that's change people.

Haha we were took to school on tractors back in the day to make sure we got there hard frost now and school is shut
