    Your so kind

    I'm awake

    I'm tired

    So much anxiety

    Still waiting for my quote

I get worried over every symptom

I'm sure the red flushing of my face every evening is due to meds

    I hate taking meds

    Worry about side effects

Morning @Amberpearl, I hope the quote comes through soon so the work can start. Have you spoken to your GP about the side effects? Maybe they could put your mind at ease.

Medication in general leads to other symptoms. There is no win win situation. My meds are messing everything else and they are not really helping my mental health.. considering withdrawing from them but the system wants you in medication. I am thinking a more natural approach but I am not sure how my GP will react. But I do not feel much improvement...

My anxiety is bad and it is hard to be understood and to live with this irrational fear.. it is constant and I can't relax. Also depression etc.. future is so scary but I try not to think about it. But the media is there to remind you. I am scare they might at any moment stop the benefits they want to save money by punishing the poor and not the wealthy..

I have very similar thoughts about medication @Schildpad, everything I take seems to come with a new side effect that then needs another medication!!

That said, some meds are SO important and others can just take a while to adapt to. How long have you been taking meds for your anxiety??

It's such a difficult balance when being on medication. I'd speak to your GP about options to make sure that you're receiving the right care. I'd recommend tryiny to stay away from reading too much about the government and benefits, it's awful for anxiety. A lot of media just sets out to fearmonger and a lot of what they say is untrue.

i have been on medication for many years… different medications for the same things… so maybe 12 or more years… it is not good to keep on medication.. i think i probably should not be in medication at all. but i am not sure what it is like to be in no medication.. i was in the past and it does not work either. but that was like 15 years ago or so. and i was working … i believe working keeps your mind away from everything but working while sick is not a good idea.. i just do not know what to do… i feel i might need medication for the liver stomach .. who knows..

    Yes I agree

    I. Hate meds

    Causing issues

Medical profession don't believe in natural methods

I adked the nurse and Sge said they don't work and without blood thinners I'd have a stroke

So I have to put up with the bleeding the redness flushing etc

they hate it because that will destroy their jobs. it is proven many things would work. so they will just say do not.. if natural medicine helps why are the doctors for etc.. but it is a pity that they want to destroy the reputation of natural medicine. it is a business.. they get paid to give you certain medicines i am sure about it.

for blood thinners spices are good. like ginger and turmeric… but check they do not counteract certain medications.

i know grapefruit or any citrus juice stops medication working.. it is bizarre but it is true.

it does not have to be a natural medication.. just see if having certain spices works..

in my case i am trying everything… my hair was falling like crazy.. i now put castor and rosemary oil and then wash it after a few hours or even after leaving it overnight. and it works. it does not fall that much and every time is stronger.. so i will keep using it..

medication are drugs… and as drugs we are hooked on them..

i can not be bothered to eat at times but the food we eat also helps with the recovery progress but i just can not be bothered . i eat to survive.

@Schildpad I understand where you're coming from, once you're on a medication it's hard to come off them. We always recommend that you go with the advice of your GP just to be safe. Maybe you could discuss your thoughts about alternatives with them and see what they say?

@Biblioklept my anxiety is triggered by everything. i have to stop reading the papers that might help. but noises etc.. i seem to be on the edge all the time. i really have to calm down. but it is hard. right know i feel anxious because i have to order my medication again and i am feeling the pharmacy will start putting faces etc.. i hope they just say yes and move on. but yes tomorrow i have to go an order it. they give me medication for three months so i do not have to worry but i hate being in medication as i do not see much improvement..
