How is your day going?

it happens more or less twice a year. @Rachel_Scope sometimes more. electricity , fire stuff and also sometimes council … so i guess three times a year. they finally came .. now the heater stopped working. i never used it or i used it many years ago, so he said that is probably why.. they use a pat machine so they do not have switch on anything. now he said it is probably dusted inside so he put a do not use sticker. Now being me.. anxious me now i am starting thinking if they will pin it on me and blame me for breaking it. also one of the hobs is not working i told him the other three work just fine. they are very old.. they only change stuff is it really broken. as it is cheaper to buy an new one than fix it. but anyway.. i really need to leave this place.
rent goes up and it is not really worth it. this is very distressing but i can not help myself. i am always anxious. but i have no choice but staying for the time being.

I'm sorry for how distressing it is for you @Schildpad. What kind of housing are you in? I'm wondering if there's some help we can find for you.

@Rachel_Scope I am in private rental. But in council list. And it probably will take years until I am even allow to see a place..

There's some information here @Schildpad which might be useful. Are the council aware of your disability? You can be classed as priority but it says it's still a very long wait. Would moving to another private rental be an option?

thanks.i am band c2. so i think they know but i am not classified as a priority as i am not homeless. it is complicated. the rents out there are also pretty bad and high, it is better what i know in case i get myself into something worse.

I know what you mean @Schildpad, sometimes I feel like it's "the better the devil you know" even if the situation isn't always ideal. I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so anxious, it's stressful knowing you have an appointment sometimes but then even more stressful when the appointment doesn't happen!!

I haven't slept a wink again and I'm exhausted.
Its raining heavily here.
I'm getting my hair highlighted and trimmed today.
I haven't managed to get it done since October because of ill health.
Looking forward to watching the soaps this evening.

My anxiety is even worse than yesterday. I am scared for the future. I will see how it goes. Now maybe is better to get up.

today.. i am normally going to a place where we do mosaics.. everyone is doing their own thing. i have been doing it for a while, so i just have to finish a piece i am making. it is only for two hours. it is rather early for me. at 10 am. even if i can turn up at any time.. but i just could not leave home today. in there i am a customer. i could volunteer on tuesdays doing stuff like sorting tiles etc… but i am busy now and in any case is a day off.. not for the time being. learning to use sewing machines and learning things… all is welcome and it is good to keep my brain busy. once i finish the course on tuesdays i will be back on free tuesdays.

Sounds like you're both having productive days @MrHappy @Biblioklept!! I've done two so far which were shower, put a wash on and I'm hoping to go on a walk this evening if it stops raining!
That sounds lovely @luvpink and I hope you have a more restful nights sleep tonight. Do you have a favourite Soap storyline at the moment? I really enjoyed the Corriedale crossover at the start of the year but a lot of the plots since then havr fallen a bit flat for me. I do wonder what/when everybody else will find about Charitys baby though!!!
Glad to hear you slept well @Schildpad, how are you feeling at the moment?0 -
i am so so.. at home in bed watching a western on the telly.. i hate westerns.. i can only say maybe one of the best westerns.. one of the best is probably that one about liberty valance.. i do not want to say the whole title because i am sure the message will go to inspection.
still in freeview best films are the classics and there are plenty in film4 at these hours.. in the evening they go to more modern films.
it is a pity they do not screen silent films. there are few gems out there but i understand people do not like to read while watching a film. But i do not mind. i love foreign films.
