My company sick pay runs out this week which will leave me with just SSP
is there anything else I'm entitled to?

Hi @mommabear52, and welcome to the community!
Citizens' Advice have some great information on SSP and what else you could be entitled to whilst on sick leave - have a read, and if you need any support or advice on pursuing any of the suggestions, just come back to us and we'll do our best to advise. Hope this helps! -
Hi. While on sick pay you can claim tax credits as in effect you are still employed. Hope this helps x
-
I get tax credits but having to pay by got an ova payment so only get £2.2.3 a week
-
But because your income has dropped you can inform them and ask for it to be recalculated on the basis of your sick pay and it should increase your entitlement x
-
Oh ok. ..I'll give them a call. .ty

Your welcome

Hi @mommabear52, can I ask if you got your full wages. Ive been off work sick and only hot SSP
-
SSP is just a figure calculated by your company and an amount they are willing to pay. It bears no relation to your needs and requirements. Anyone on SSP for a reasonable length of time should make enquiries about benefits through the local appropriate channels. The CAB can provide information on such things and, in a more general way, many sites online also do so, just be careful about giving personal information online to unknown companies.

Hi @mansfieldmaid, I understand you have to work 30+ hrs to get Tax Credits. In my situation I have earned to much from April 2017 to April 2018 to be awarded anything
-

-
Hi @mommabear52, thanks for replying to me. Do you if it's law that you get full pay for a certain amount of time
