Just catching up and seen your creations @StarryEyed They're amazing. Do you sell these at all? I bet you could easily!

Congratulations @dawna! It sounds really interesting. Is this your first novel?
0 -
Thanks Holly. Yes it's my first. I'm currently working on the sequel.

@niknak7197 I love your artwork. Are those hand drawn or digital?
@dawna congratulations! I find it incredible that people like you who write fiction can invent an entire book in your head!
@Holly_Scope, thank you. Yes, some pieces are sold for charity. Some are donated to an old-age residence for gifts for the residents (such as birthdays, bingo and other game prizes, and Christmas). Some are made for friends and family. I make pieces for myself too. It's not spectacular, but it's quite acceptable, quite nice.

That's such a lovely thing to do with them @StarryEyed. I can imagine it brightens people's day to win that as a prize! ๐

Yes, it's a win all around. It's recycled materials, so it's good for the environment. People love getting it. And I love every step in making it and giving it away. I feel so fortunate to have found this hobby. Odd as it sounds, I've never had a hobby.

It has so many benefits - must be a really rewarding seeing the impact of doing something you enjoy whether it's brightening someone's day, supporting a charity or even saving the environment. I can see why you enjoy it so much and you're a natural looking at your pictures!

@Holly_Scope thank you for your compliment. Yes, very rewarding indeed. I just wish others would do it too, so that it will have more of an impact. Maybe in the future. In the meantime, it's my grain of sand. You know, the biggest benefit for me is that it gives me something to do when I'm stuck at home with my disability. Also I can't do most of the things I used to do outside the home, but this gives me something I can do outside the home too. BTW, how is your painting coming along?
@dawna you're welcome ๐ค
@niknak7197 well that's amazing art. And playful. Bonnie's expression is so insightful, telling more than half the story of Bonnie and Clyde ๐๐ผ
