Hi, my son receives enhanced daily living of PIP and standard mobility. He also receives LCWRA of universal credit.I am also his appointee .He has severe Crohn's disease and severe anxiety that's affects his daily living. His review/reassessments are due November. He has surgery next month for a panproctocolectomy. Do I need to inform both PIP and UC ? Thanks

Unless the surgery would affect his mobility or change how his conditions impact him (in a way that could alter his eligibility), there’s generally no need to inform PIP or Universal Credit. However, if he’s in hospital for more than 28 days, you should let PIP know, as payments are usually suspended after that point.
