    Good morning

    I was awake all night and I fell asleep around 6 am and just woke up.

    We have beautiful sunshine today after it having rained so much over the last few weeks.

    Annoying.

    I could do with popping to the shop for a card for Mother's Day on the 15th, but they've just turned round and said they've no staff! I wouldn't mind but this always happens when I have an agenda, the only reason we're going up to York tomorrow is because someone's coming in specially on what would've been her day off.

    I wasn't going to go out today but the sun was shining so I took a little stroll to town.

    It was really busy here (holiday makers)

    I had a good day chatting to people I know.

    I am listening to a bit of 70's music now and I have stuff I recorded to watch later on tv

    I actually did manage to get some sleep last night but I got up a couple of times and it was raining and wind.

    I'm going out later for lunch and to admire the beautiful sea views.

    Its lovely during the quieter months and we have a great local community but there are many downsides living in a popular seaside resort and the effects of 'over' tourism during the holiday season.

    Thanks Bluebell, and you too 😊. March is one of my favourite months and couldn't have come soon enough! Even the daffodils have appeared which Natalie-Tiffany is delighted about!!
