The little dog is mine, @Josephine23, Rambo belongs to someone else that we often see when we go to the dog park. He is a real softy, a lovely dog. Loves Hattie & lets her do what she likes, she's a cheeky little dachs.

I've been to visit my parents, so my camera roll is absolutely full of dog pictures!

Here's Dudley showing off his magnificent set of teeth.

And here's Duds with his brother Moose having a cuddle:

Aww I completely agree, pets definitely make everything better! 😊🐾

Princess Carolyn and Duchess Fuzzyface are amazing names πŸ˜„ (and I don’t blame you for not telling them apart πŸ˜‚).

I’ll have to see if I can dig out a good photo to share too! πŸ“ΈπŸΆβœ¨

@Mike_Whovian thank you so much! Their names are from Bojack Horseman and both the characters are cats. My friend was very disappointed that we didn't name them somthing like Morticia and Wednesday considering they're black cats πŸ˜‚I look forward to seeing your pics!

Loving the photos and stories πŸ’˜

@Bluebell21 your deck and garden are gorgeous! I'd never leave home if I lived there. And I bet your cutie pie Sam stays close 😁

It's pouring buckets today so I'm staying home, getting stuff done and watching my favourite bird video. No talking. Just 100% nature sounds and nature views. It's especially spectacular today against the backdrop of pouring rain....

Thank you @StarryEyed Sam does stay in the garden he chases flies and checks out the bushes and flowers. We do get quite a few birds although not when Sam is prowling.

Enjoy your favourite bird video and thank you for sharing it.

    Take care.

I clicked on your birdsong link @StarryEyed , turned it off but the birdsong continued. Turned out I'd got similar-sounding birds in the garden. πŸ˜„

Hi @MissMarple Really? That is such a coincidence because he only does one birdsong at a time for a total of 46 birdsongs. Awesome!! They're all European birds. He names each bird in the description, which is so kind of him.

How wonderful that you have a garden. I live in the centre of the city so rarely hear birds. Nature videos are a great way of bringing a little of the outdoors into the indoors. 😊

I have no idea whether it was the same bird @StarryEyed I can't tell a crow from a nightingale 🀣

I live in a block of flats in an urban area, but there's a patch of green right by my door with plenty of birds and the occasional squirrels and hedgehogs. A couple of times I even saw foxes. At the moment it's ladybirds busying around. A black and white cat has just walked past as I was typing this, and there are always dogs out on their walks. When I moved here, I didn't expect to have actual wildlife here. It really makes a difference when I need cheering up.

@MissMarple, I could tell the difference between a crow and a nightingale because a crow is one of the very few birdsongs I recognise 😁 And I'm living on entirety new continent far away from home, so I am at a loss as to most sounds - not just birdsongs. I lived by a stream for a couple of years here, and late one night I heard these horrific sounds that wouldn't stop. The more I speculated who or what was making the sound, the more scared I got. So I finally called my cousin. She listened. They were frogs. Just run-of-the-mill frogs, with a distinct Spanish accent.
