Good Morning everybody ๐. Hope you all have a LOVELY day.
First day in 10 days I will properly relax now the astronauts are safely back and are well. SO VERY courageous. Six of the longest minutes of my life last night as would have been for so very many when no comms for that period of time. Can breathe easily now. Until next year ๐ซ ๐.
It's raining a bit here, dogs ran back in DOUBLE QUICK at 6am ha ha. Hope you may be able to go out @luvpink and that you enjoy the National @Amberpearl. Take good care all.

I remember back when Helen Sharman won that competition on Newsround to be the first British person in Space, her Dad was the Head of my College.

Thank you @Holly_Scope I prefer it when the sun is shining too. I am fine thanks and enjoying the weekend.
I hope you enjoy your weekend too.

Thanks @Holly_Scope although they're not very good ๐คญ๐ . Just very grateful I wasn't up their taking the photos, at the speed they were going, I'd have probably missed even the Moon, whiling away my time just gazing/daydreaming ๐ซ ๐คฃ.
I love the photo they took showing the Earth in the background of the Moon, like they were just peeping over the Moon at Earth, just so lovely; very special.

Fairly busy.
Been to the local William Hill Bookies to place bets on this year's Grand National, I've also sorted my costume out for Comic Con in Doncaster tomorrow, and I'm off to the Karaoke tonight, after tea.

Afternoon everyone

Oooo who did you bet on? My choice would have been Panic Attack.
Sounds like you've got a great weekend planned! What costume have you gone for in the end?
0 -
I had ยฃ1 each way bets on Panic Attack, I am Maximus and another one.
I'm debating whether to go as Batman or Shazam, probably Shazam because wearing the mask for Batman might break my hearing aid.

Maximus was my second favourite ๐ Fingers crossed you get a nice little win.
Shazam is cool and will probably be a bit easier to move about in I'd imagine. Yes, you don't want to risk that.

Good point.
The third one was "Top of the Bill", well, remember The Bill when it was on? It was my second favourite British "soap" after Coronation St.

Got back just over an hour ago from Comic Con in Doncaster, my third event so far this year, next one's in Leeds in August followed by Sheffield in October, might try and see when Lincoln's on.

Hi @SheffieldMan1976, what did you enjoy most at this Comic Con?
Unfortunately I wasn't able to approve your photos, we'd love to see them but the link you shared asked for email addresses to access them. If you'd like to post a few photos I'm sure we'd all like to see! ๐
