New dwp get back to work
I keep for some reason get a lady with glasses on on my YouTube home page.
She is stating us already on lcwra are going to be forced into work. I'm so unwell. I also receive pip.
Got progressive arthritis fibromyalgia and gout. I'm in severe pain throughout most days.
Without my benefits I would be homeless.
Is this lady correct as seems really scary.

No it's not true... I suggest you tell YouTube not to recommend that channel so you won't see her again!

I know exactly who you're on about. If you see a video from her again, let YouTube know you don't want to see her content anymore.

Just watching it, scary, it's about workwell

I have looked into her a bit more, seems she has her back up with DWP as an ex employee. These vids should be banned, I was having panic attacks before.

Sorry to hear these have affected you so much @Paulbee1122 and @DellaSand. Hope you're doing better after your panic attacks. It's horrible the amount of scaremongering around.
A lot of this kind of content relies on scary titles to get people clicking so they can make money. And the more that you click on them, the more YouTube will think that's what you'd like to watch so you might find they keep popping up. Not easy to ignore sometimes when the titles are so attention grabbing. Like others have said, if you're able to tell YouTube not to recommend them to you that might be the best way forward.

Thank you Rosie.
If I could work I would,as I did for 35 years. I cannot now. I would be late everyday and be in horrendous pain within an hour.
It's all crazy and people who are poorly as it is don't need this.

She has caused me so many sleepless nights a year or so ago her tone everything and shes always trying to sell her book she over dramatises she should be stopped

I agree she should be stopped, but you also have the power not to watch her videos (which only benefits her) and tell YouTube not to recommend her channel.

No your right i agree

When anyone sees a thumbnail for one of her videos just click on the three dots next to it and then click on don't recommend channel, her videos should not show up for you anymore.

Yeah, don't fret, you will NOT be forced to get a job if you physically cannot work.

the lady's spelling the DWP's actual agenda out loud. the DWP are happy to see disabled bodies ple high if it means saving money. so in a sense, the lady is correct.
you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink. but worth adding, such neoliberal agendas are untenable anyway, as there will never be enough jobs for everyone who wants to work, yet alone disabled ppl.

And the other thing is, I've lived with, and currently live with, a myriad of disabled people that could no more go out and get a job than I could dress up in that Eagle costume I've got in the Wardrobe and actually fly.

Being forced into work makes NO sense, I've already been rejected 3 times this week and it's only 3 o'clock on Tuesday.
