Under normal circumstances I hate turn based combat, but Clair Obscur was pretty cool.

I remember spending upwards of half an hour loading games off tapes on the Spectrum, and even then the flippin' thing would crash!😡
Some great games though, and some not so great, remember the borderline unplayable Spectrum version of Street Fighter 2?

Golden Axe on the Sega Mega Drive
Too short a game, the cartridge could no longer cope!

Wonder Boy on the Sega Master System.

Mouse: PI For Hire on Xbox, started playing it last night, got a bit stuck so I cheated and watched a walkthrough on YouTube.

I'm so grateful for walkthroughs. I play a series called Rusty Lake which involves lots of puzzles and there are some that I'd never have been able to work out.

Gun is the best western game.

I've just completed the Xbox One version of Claiming the Forest: Settling Peace for the full 2000 points, and I'm 2 achievements from beating the Series X version of the same game.

About half an hour ago I cleared the Series X version! Yay! Go me!

Woohoo well done! Do you know what you'll play next?

Depends if there's anything on Game Pass next week.
I'm currently working on Little Helper Cafe: Sugar Cubes, stuck on level 12 of 15 for the last achievements on the One and SX versions.

I've just looked up Little Helper Cafe and it looks so cute! I can't play anything at the moment because my computer is getting repaired. I think I might make a wishlist of games ready for when I get it back.

Crash City Mayhem/Runabout 3D: Drive Impossible on the Nintendo 3DS. It's a game where you can choose from a selection of vehicles to do missions in while causing mayhem. It's pretty good, I do like the Runabout series.

I've cleared several games so far this month on Xbox.
Currently on 6400 points so far in achievements.
With some more to come in a bit.

Assassins Creed games have provided me with plenty hours of gruelling challenges and a few late nights lol. I've finished all of them right through to the lastest Mirage. I Haven't played AC Blackflag Remastered though. And stuff like Chronicals and India etc. AC 1 was really hard mainly cos when you were excaping guards you can't hide in water like you can in the later versions. Rogue was a favourite of mine. Tomb Raider Games have also provided me with plenty entertainment and even to this day I like to play Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

I've been playing PBA Pro Bowling 2026 on PC Game Pass all morning, I tried the demo of the PC version last year and loved it.
Just need to download it on Xbox.

You sound like a cool mum! I'm not usually a fan of online games but my friend introduced me to Arc Raiders and we used headsets and ended up speaking to people from Spain! Do you play anything else?
I'm into detective puzzle games at the moment and I'm playing The Curse of the Golden Idol. It's a weird storyline but I absolutely love trying to figure out who everyone is and what happened.
