I'm really exhausted from lack of sleep and I have an early start tomorrow for a hospital appointment.

I'm so sorry Emilee for the delay in replying to you, I was hospitalised Friday so not been on here.

I'm sorry too that you've felt increasingly lonely; it is hard to feel that way with four dogs (or even one) but being housebound has definitely brought its challenges, not least because of my dogs. 'Thankfully', I'd sought advice c 4 years ago when I could no longer walk them (vet plus RSPCA) but they were not only wholeheartedly supportive, but both expressed admiration at my 100% commitment, that has never waivered: I have a good sized garden and tbh, I'd likely have ignored 'adverse' advice anyway as I know my dogs best; they've little legs, two are a bit bone-idle and they get a lot of stimulation and are physically and mentally, very healthy and very happy. I'll reply separately in a sec about their names..... that's a whole new story in itself ... 🫠😊😅.

Btw, I used to have a camera set up and would login to see what they were up to whilst I worked. That was very funny - I could talk to them through it but only did once as it unsettled them especially when I said 'get down from their' 🤣. I could play classical music through it which they liked. My dog sitter came in once a day when I was on a 6 hour shift and twice on a 10 hour shift. I didn’t let her walk them, I did that before work. I changed to nights via Agency when my dog had eye surgery as needed drops every 2 hours that was tough.

I still have two dog sitters, both come in for emergencies only now and one I've used for 13 years now so known my dogs since they were puppies. Please feel free to ask any questions at all. Take good care of yourself.

@Bluebell21, where in the country are you? I've got similar weather to @luvpink, it's cold here, but very sunny. It looks much nicer than it feels!

I'm working a half day today, in the afternoon. They're the weirdest of shifts because you spend the whole morning waiting for work, so end up feeling like you've done a full day anyway.
