Any advice about missed tribunal phonecall?
Hi I got an unexpected call on my phone. I thought it was about a new double glazed door that we are trying to get a quote about and I wasn't up to speaking to anyone, so I ignored it. Then I realised that it was actually from DWP PIP.
I have made an appeal and was given a date for the DWP to make a response before going to tribunal, but that was a few days ago, so I assumed that they would just go through the tribunal process. I have read so many different things about this kind of call. I feel paralysed by the pressure of going through another mini assessment or to negotiate terms with DWP, especially because I get so stressed and confused. Should I call them back to find out what the call was about, can I even get through to the right person on that number? I'm currently waiting for a scheduled call from my GP so I can't do it immediately. I'm so worn down by this process.

Hi @wonkydaze, sorry you're having to go through the tribunal process, it must be really stressful. I know it might be hard with how you're feeling, but I'd definitely suggest giving them a call back to see what they wanted, even if just to help put you at ease in the long term.

I called the number and it was a pre recorded message saying that they were in touch earlier but I was not available and that I don't need to get in touch they will call again if they need to speak to me. I feel like I've really messed up now.

Ah, ok. I'm sure that won't be the case. They might just want to ask a few questions. 😊Hopefully they'll be in touch over the next day or so, and you can put it to the back of your mind for a little bit.
