    You can do the MR in writing or by phone. It should be the same outcome for both.

    The only problem with doing it over the phone is that you do not know whether the person wrote down everything you said correctly or not.

    hI @ Yadnad. Did they ever find out that you did hold liscence??? Im the same i do not trust them however my daughter said that I must inform them im just so nervous they'll take it away from me.

    Honesty is the best policy.

    They cannot take your driving licence away.

    If you think you shouldn't be driving for any reason you should inform dvla

    @luvpink thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it. Im honestly thinking of dropping out of yhe whole process as right now my driving liscence is more important to me. I'd be financially crippled by this but my anxiety is just too high right now to continue. Do you know whether its a common recurrence for pip to report you to dvla and share your information

    No pip don't do that.

    A medical professional like doctors who have diagnosed you can report it if they think a medical condition means you shouldn't be driving, otherwise you inform the dvla

    I understand your anxiety.

    The waiting times seem to vary a lot.

    Some claimants have their assessments within a couple of weeks and others have to wait a very long time.
