ESA new style and lcwra
I started new ESA claim 4 April I'm on lcwra on UC and accepted my commitments 17 April first payment 29th April - will ESA back date me to 11-28th without sick note and how long for put me in support group because UC lcwra then when do they back date me for the support group I'm over 25

New Style ESA will be deducted from your UC in full. There isn't any financial gain from being on both, so nothing to be backdated.

If you were already on LCWRA and then applied for New Style ESA, did you have to go through a new Work Capability Assessment? Also, how long did it take to get a decision on your ESA claim?”

Hi,
I have done myself this but for NI credits-only (no payments). I did not have to go through another WCA.
As far as I remember, it only took a few weeks from applying online to getting the decision letter in the post.
