Anyone else surprised by the election outcomes so far?

Always have done, and many that didn't really have an opinion, they most certainly do post brexit.
This isn't going away, whatever the Unionist parties say.

Labour have not listened to its constituents and delivered very little in my opinion. It’s frightening how quickly a party such as ‘Reform’ can emerge and convince people to adopt its values. Thankfully here in Wales we have ‘Plaid Cymru’ which has been a strong contender for ‘Reform’. Change is happening at a rapid pace with ‘Reform’ gaining popularity everywhere and there’s been a lot of tactical voting. That might all change come a General Election; and that really will be a time for worry.

I've woken this morning to find that Reform have taken my council and I'm very worried about the council tax support. I know that's the Household support fund gone, thankfully I don't rely on social care but I do get 70% council tax support. Does anyone live in a Reform council and has your CT support changed? I'm very seriously considering moving to Scotland as is my daughter who has ADHD. She feels very scared right now and I don't blame her. People have lost their effing minds.

People have sent a strong message to the Labour government that they are not happy with what they are doing.
It is now up to them to improve and start listening to what people are saying.
Whether they will remains to be seen.
Starmer needs to start looking after his own country and stop grandstanding on the world stage.

My council tax increased by the maximum amount by a Liberal democrat run council and I only get single person discount.

Scottish independence will NEVER happen no matter how much the likes of Nicola Sturgeon get their Kilts in a bunch, without "help" from London, the Scottish government would've gone Bankrupt years ago.

Nihola Sturgeon isn't First Minister, i have no idea if she has a kilt, I certainly don't.
Scotland would be similar to Norway, Denmark, Ireland with regards to population and resources. When did you last hear Ireland begging to be taken back by GB? All those other small countries around the world, such as New Zealand, they can all manage fine, but Scotland is a unique case?
Holyrood is a devolved government, it doesn't have complete control over the country's affairs. Scotland pays tax to the UK treasury, they aren't in receipt of some sort of charity from London.

I'm just sitting back with the popcorn … waiting for the inevitable arguments online.
In my town (and others) they've changed the schools to Welsh Medium Learning (everything taught in Welsh). The uproar by incomers shouting racism, usually answered by 'If you don't like it …' It got very heated. To say the least.
I think there will be changes on second homes (already 200% Council tax) to protect communities. The Culture. The language
Us Welsh haven't got time for racism, we're too busy hating each other. South/ North/ Mid/West 🤣
I've got no particular axe to grind in The Boats etc discussion … but it does go against everything I hold dear in free speech. Everyone should be allowed their voice without fear of being labelled this or that
People died for our rights, let's hold their memories close and respect others no matter which way we lean
Will we go our sparate way to the UK … nah. But still going to enjoy a party I've voted for finally winning 😁
