How is your day going?

Good morning
Its looking dull here but the wind has lessened since yesterday.
I'm hoping to get out later, only a shopping centre a few miles away just to have a mooch about and then maybe nip into Perranporth, a little coastal town with some shops, the beach etc.
Its all on the flat with wider pavements than most of the coastal towns and so a bit easier to get about.
I hope you all manage to have a good day.

Bit cold and windy here in Sheffield.
Lift's out of order again but at least they fixed the water, just had a bath.

Good morning.
Its looking dull and cold outside.
I'm having a quiet day in watching stuff I have recorded.

I see that it's cold and rainy for you all too. The sun has come out here now but I don't think it'll last long. Is everyone keeping warm? I have my fluffy yellow blanket on.

The sun has made an appearance this afternoon but I'm not going out as I need a rest day.
I have put some special deep conditioning treatment on my hair which stays on for up to an hour.
I use it once a month to keep my hair in good soft condition.

That sounds like a lovely relaxing day @luvpink. It's reminded me that I need to take better care of my hair. I have various hair treatments in my cupboard but never think to use them. What do you use?

Was going OK till yet again I got another rejection email from B&Q about half an hour ago.
All because I declared I can't work Thursdays due to my course, funded by the Social… I wouldn't mind but surely there's reasonable adjustments? But of course I've been saying for years that all that reasonable adjustments stuff is a load of bobbins because what's reasonable is open to interpretation at the employer's discretion, which almost never benefits the potential or actual employee.

I'm sorry @SheffieldMan1976. It must be so frustrating to keep getting rejected. Do you know about our Support to Work team who could help you?

To be fair it wasn't an outright rejection, they said they liked my skills and would add me to their talent Pool, but it still feels like yet another in a LONG line of rejections!

Wella fusion products bought from amazon and recommended by my hairdresser.
I find them really good.

Good morning.
I barely slept a wink last night which probably means I will be exhausted today.
Its looking cold, a bit windy and dull here.
I have a man coming to clean my carpets and sofa's this morning and I'm hoping to go to the city later to get a refund on some clothes, and have a mooch around.
I hope you all manage to have a pleasant day.

Have you thought about not declaring stuff like time restrictions until the interview stage? I wouldn't list it in the application unless they specifically ask your availability.
