Please share your chronic pain

Ill start: I have a savere, stabbing shoulder pain. It comes and goes multiple times in a day, and usually disrupts my sleep, resulting me having to wake up multiple times per night. I think chronic pain can surnificantly affects persons mental health.(well it did mine) U get all sorts of thoughts. I think its important to reach out to people and to know thst ur not alone.

Obviously im not a doctor, but i really want to learn about peoples daily struggles with the pain. Big hugs 🐻🐻🐻.

    That sounds really sore @kelics. It's never good when your pain disrupts your sleep. It puts you in to a whole cycle of being tired because you're in pain, then the pain feels harder to deal with because you're tired. Do you get much help from doctors to relieve it?

    I find that pain can take me out of a situation. So if I'm chatting to someone or I'm at an event of some kind, it gets difficult to stay present and take everything in. I often find it baffling that some people live without any pain at all. It's so alien to me, I can't even imagine what it feels like!

    Mine is a nightmare, having hypermobility syndrome disorder which effects my knees, Lower legs, shoulders, neck, wrists, lower back, hips, aching pain all the time. My shoulders are so stiff I can't lift my arms up properly. One side of my neck hurts. I have osteoarthritis in both feet. My big toes are extremely painful and feel like burning pain. Pain relief most make me sleepy, which I take co codemal at night so I can try and sleep. Headaches, then the fatigue which comes over which I need to sleep can't keep my eyes open. This comes with this condition and copd which I have
