I somehow don't think the benefits system is for that..You could try PDSA charity, but you'll still have to pay something.

Unfortunately there is no official help available for vets bills for people on PIP and UC but as Santosha mentioned above there is various animal charities that may be able to help.
My dog needs ongoing medication as he has seizures and we have recently found that we can pay around £35 for a prescription from the vets and then pick up the medication at the human pharmacy as his medication is the same as what they prescribe humans.
This has saved us hundreds of pounds so far as it used to cost nearly £250 a month for him so that may be an option too😊1 -

Exeter RSPCA has a reduced scheme. Animals cost a fortune these days.
